•  The primary objective of this subject is to complete mathematical knowledge of students with chapters of the linear algebra and geometry actually needed in their academic training. To achieve this objective it is aimed an accessible level for teaching students, starting from recapitulation and then extend the concepts gained in high school. It is considering both guidance and application knowledge taught by focusing on examples. All this is achieved through a number of different exercises that demonstrate the practical use in solving specific problems.

Another main objective of this subject is to make students acquire a strictly mathematical knowledge base for understanding and successfully covering other basic and specialized subjects.

It also aims training logical thinking and improve computer abilities, creating a clear picture of the importance and role of this subject in training of future specialists.
